James Harpman is stuck in the past.

His dad is screwing up his future.

James just wants to buy his children’s nativity costumes, chill with best friend Bill, and forget Nigel, his awful absentee dad. But when Nigel turns up to shove him into the past, he and Bill are hurled back to the 1980s to fend for themselves.

In a desperate race to return to the present and save his family, James has to face down a violent milkman, a vengeful librarian, and his own inadequacies. Should be a cinch. As long as he doesn’t do something really stupid.

Like punch his dad in the face.
